Ashley Jones

Ashley Aubra Jones. Born September 3, 1976, Ashley Aubra Jones has been an American actress for over twenty years. She has a number of soap opera roles including Megan Dennison in The Young and the Restless and Bridget Forrester in The Bold and the Beautiful. In addition, she played the recurring role as Daphne during the second season of HBO drama series True Blood. Ashley Jones earned a Bachelor of Human Learning, K-8 in 1997 from the University of Tennessee at Martin. She began her professional career as an educator in Maury County where she taught Kindergarten and first graders Reading. She got married in 1998 to the love of her life and UT Martin sweetheart Brent Jones and moved to Thompsons Station. There she began teaching 4th year in Bethesda Elementary. The years 1999, 2000 and 2001, she completed her Master of Instruction in Trevecca Nazarene University while continuing to teach. In 2000, the couple welcomed their first child, Baylor. Ashley spent 15 years serving the community, her church as well as children. Ashley was a teacher and leader at Thompson Station's Preschool and Student Ministry for the past 13 years. Ashley as well as her family homeschooled for 3 years. Ashley, who taught History for kindergarten and 1st grade at home, also attended this tutorial. God has shown her family that although she enjoyed being at home with her children and having time with them but it was time to take Ashley back to the classroom.
